What Is Build It For Kids?

It started out as "coffee shop talk" and it has now become a significant, creative, hands-on, fundraiser benefiting thousands of children.

Build It For Kids combines the volunteer labour of willing trades people with the contribution of materials near or below cost.

When the project is done and the house is sold, the proceeds are used to build hope in the lives of children in need, around the world.

Benefits To Kids

The Build It For Kids program is making a dramatic difference in the lives of children throughout the developing world. The proceeds of the sale of each house project go directly to support the work of Children’s Camps International.

It all adds up very quickly. For every $5 raised another child gets the opportunity to go to camp. That means the sale of a house will have a tremendous impact on thousands of young people.

Benefits To The Community

In addition to the impact this program is having in lives of children, Build It For Kids is bringing communities together. As various trades come together and work for a common purpose, there is a tremendous sense of accomplishment as they benefit the charitable work of Children’s Camps International.
